Skywatchers tempered to add up lunar eclipse

LOS ANGELES, Calif The last total lunar eclipse until 2010 passed Wednesday, with cameo appearances by Saturn and the bright star Regulus on either side of the veiled full moon.
Skywatchers screening through a scope had the supplied treat of realising Saturn’s well rings. They too saw Regulus, the brilliant star in the configuration Leo.
